Session Types

  • Serving the Central Valley, Modesto, Stockton, and Lodi Area

    Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

    Here's what you can expect from our in-person lactation support:

    • Comprehensive Review: We'll discuss your and your baby's health history, birth, and feeding experience to date, based on intake forms and our conversation.

    • Observation and Hands-On Assistance: I'll observe and assess your feeding process, providing hands-on assistance as needed.

    • Baby's Weight Check: This includes pre- and post-feeding weights when applicable.

    • Personalized Feeding Plan: I'll create a personalized feeding plan of care for you and your baby, which will be emailed to you after our session.

    • Extended Support: You'll receive 7-days of text and email support following our session.

    • Reporting: Upon request, I can share a report with your physician and/or pediatrician.

    I'm in-network with Aetna & CIGNA insurance. If you have Aetna or CIGNA, your visit is likely to be covered fully by your insurance.

    Here's what you can expect from our virtual lactation support:

    • Comprehensive Review: We'll discuss your and your baby's health history, birth, and feeding experience to date, based on intake forms and our conversation.

    • Observation of Infant Feeding: I'll observe the feeding process via our virtual platform, offering guidance and support.

    • Education and Support: I'll provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to address and anticipate breastfeeding challenges.

    • Personalized Feeding Plan: I'll create a personalized feeding plan of care for you and your baby, which will be emailed to you after our session.

    • Extended Support: You'll receive 7-days of text and email support following our session.

    • Reporting: Upon request, I can share a report with your physician and/or pediatrician.

  • Class Duration: Approximately 1.5 Hours (watched on your own prior to session)

    Consultation Duration: 45 minutes

    In this package you will have access to my comprehensive Breastfeeding Preparation Class and a 45-minute virtual session to answer all of your questions and create a custom feeding plan.

    Here's what you can expect from the on-demand comprehensive breastfeeding prep class:

    • Understanding Your Newborn: Learn what to expect from your newborn baby, understand normal newborn behavior, and know when to ask for help.

    • Breastfeeding Basics: We'll cover the anatomy and physiology of breastmilk production, the stages of breastfeeding, and what to expect from your body.

    • Latch and Positioning: Learn the key to minimizing soreness and promoting effective milk transfer through deep latching.

    • Ensuring Your Baby Is Well-Fed: Learn how to know if your baby is getting enough milk.

    • Partner Involvement: Discover how partners and support people can get involved in the care of the baby and support of the breastfeeding parent.

    • Pumping and Bottle Feeding: Get introduced to the basics of pumping and bottle feeding.

    • Navigating Life with a Newborn: The class will answer frequently asked questions and provide many tips on navigating life with a newborn.

    This class can be watched at a time that is convenient for you, but needs to be completed before we meet virtually.
